We have flexible capital, allowing us to both work with owners who want to continue to operate their business after a transaction in addition to owners who want to transition away from their business or retire. Following a transaction, we provide capital investment, strategic resources and human capital to help companies achieve their full potential. Our vision is to create a scaled platform of residential contractor services businesses throughout the United States.
While we are flexible in structuring, in most of our acquisitions, we seek a majority ownership interest with the seller retaining a minority interest. This allows for a true partnership based on an alignment of goals and incentives. The minority partner is often the current owner who retains some ownership with a built-in exit strategy that allows them to monetize ownership over time.
HOW WE WORK
We allow operators to focus on serving customers, unburdened by the demands of running the commercial side of the business. We work closely with owners and staff to create a strong infrastructure and culture to manage all non-client facing functions. We draw on our own commercial expertise, along with a network of other experts and resources, to help our businesses grow.
Our strategy calls for multiple businesses and owners to work together in the same geography. This allows for collaboration within the group from a management and best-practices standpoint. Our network allows owners to share resources for the benefit of the group.

Jake Meister | Email
Jake Meister is our Director of Acquisitions. Prior to joining River Sea, Jake worked in private equity at Dominus Capital and in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated deals across a number of industries including a focus on industrials and contractor services businesses. Jake is currently obtaining his MBA from Harvard Business School and received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
